DraftKings recently became the newest New Jersey online casino to offer live dealer games 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is also the new Atlantic City DraftKings live dealer studio, run in partnership with Evolution Gaming. There are now five open seats at live blackjack tables and there is a high-speed baccarat game coming soon.
The new live dealer games are just another advancement of DraftKings in the New Jersey online gaming market, where the company has been at the forefront of the action. According to Jason March, head of gaming at DraftKings, these new offerings are a direct response to customer demand.
“Our customers really enjoyed the Evolution live dealer product,” he said.
“And we felt we had a tremendous opportunity to capitalize on that and carry over our brand that we developed with our retail sportsbook at Resorts in Atlantic City.
“It has the same look and feel. It allows us greater control of the brand, the images and look and feel of the game play.”
The new games offered will be played in the same manner as other live dealer tables, but the background scenery will feature DraftKings branding and ads for casino bonuses and promotions.
“We plan on running multiple promotions in live dealer, which hasn’t been done yet in New Jersey,” March said.
He also responded to speculation surrounding the DraftKings Sportsbook and a potential venture into live broadcasting, saying “it is something we are going to look into”.
DraftKings live baccarat game sets new pace
While land-based casinos feature more blackjack games than baccarat tables, demand for the latter is steadily rising in the online gaming sector. The DraftKings Casino will launch a new live dealer baccarat table this month, with cards dealt face-up instead of face-down to improve the rate of play.
“This will allow for a much quicker game and more hands per hour for the players,” said March.
Also, the table limits for live baccarat will be lower than at the DraftKings blackjack tables, where bets can range from $15 to $250 on a typical day.
More new games at DraftKings Casino NJ
At the DraftKings Casino New Jersey there are in excess of 40 real money games available, which is modest compared to other online casinos. However, there is a reason for that.
“We want to make sure we are offering exactly what our players want on a regular basis,” March explained.
“Now we are doing weekly game releases and that will continue to get 100 games out by the first week of the NFL season.”
The goal for DraftKings is to release games in batches rather than one at a time. The company is now developing its own titles, including progressive slot games and a unique Halloween Roulette game.
Of DK’s methodical approach to its casino game library, March said, “We are not going to just throw up 500 games and see what sticks.”
