The land-based casinos in Atlantic City are closed for the month due to the coronavirus concern. Now players will head online to get their gambling in. Month after month the Golden Nugget Online Casino has been the industry leader and it may benefit from the venue closures in New Jersey.
Golden Nugget had a solid February according to the revenue figures released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE). The online casino had a slight decrease after a record-breaking January, but it is was not significant and it still led all New Jersey casino sites in terms of revenue.
In January 2020, Golden Nugget made $4 million more in revenue than in December 2019. February did not reach the January figure, but the casino still had a monthly revenue of $19,779,285, which was its second-biggest month to date.
It is believed that the online casinos in New Jersey will have increased growth with the coronavirus issue keeping people at home. Golden Nugget is the top New Jersey online casino by a wide margin, taking in nearly double the revenue of other online operators in the Garden State.

One of the ways that Golden Nugget has continued to be the leader in the NJ online casino industry is its lucrative welcome bonus. The casino also has a no-deposit bonus available where players can try out real money games for free.
The February figures from the DGE showed that Golden Nugget continues to dominate the competition. While it took a small hit in revenue in February, that happened for all New Jersey online casinos. Golden Nugget had a record January with $21.2 million in revenue, which was $1.5 million more than February.
Even though Golden Nugget had a slight revenue dip in September 2019, it still led the pack with more than $15 million in revenue. With a strong first two months of 2020 and more players gambling online with land-based Atlantic City casinos closed, the firm is on track to top last year’s return of $177 million.
The year-to-date revenue total for Golden Nugget is about $41 million, which averages out to about $20.5 million per month. If that is tallied for a yearly total, the predicted figure for 2020 would come to $246 million. No other New Jersey online casino could get close to that figure. Golden Nugget continues to dominate the New Jersey online casino market and it does not look like slowing down anytime soon.
