Thursday August 22 2019 marked the day the privately owned huge green betting giant from Stoke in the United Kingdom officially landed on United States shores. Bet365 has gone live in the New Jersey sports betting market.
Eagle-eyed onlookers noticed that on Thursday there was a soft launch of the Bet365 New Jersey site with all US online visits to Bet365 now redirected to the Bet365 NJ site, and residents from the state of New Jersey now able to sign up.
Bet365 is the betting leader in the United Kingdom and one of the biggest brands the world over. Their entry in to the legal New Jersey sports betting market is significant.
One of the few privately owned betting brands of its size, bet365 made the announcement in June 2019 that they would be tied together with the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City, and in the spring Bet365 established office space in New Jersey.
On Thursday Bet365 invited the online bettors in New Jersey to register for the betting giant’s site before it officially goes live.
During the soft launch, there are only specific times when the website is live and there is currently no mobile betting application that is available. However, Bet365 is licensed in the state of New Jersey and have an Android app with an iOS app will certainly be available soon.
Bet365 join other UK betting brands in the New Jersey online sportsbooks landscape such as William Hill, and Flutter (formerly known as Paddy Power) through their Draftkings brand.
Bet365 have also signed a wagering deal with Empire Resorts’ Resorts World Catskills casino last November for a land based and online sportbook launch in New York. However, Bet365 is very busy these days and there is no set date for that pending launch.
